It is always my new years/ winter break tradition to try to finish up any unfinished pieces of art that I have lying around. I like to start off the year fresh with no incomplete art projects. My typical way to ring in the new year is starting a new painting the first of the year and resetting the count. My goal last year was to learn: 1) decorative ceramics, 2) resin and polymer clay jewelry making. I made 175 pieces of art this year ( 2023). -25 pieces of ceramics -134 pieces of jewelry - 7 paintings -6 Sculptures -3 bulletin boards This upcoming year my goals are: - get back to painting ( acrylic and oil) - learn acrylic jewelry making - get a metal saw & soldering iron and learn how to cut metal jewelery and solder it.

I have made 88 works of art in the last year. That is a milestone for me! I took 3 ceramics courses of 3/4 of the year and then spent the last quarter of the year doing other art forms either on my own or thru workshops. 88! Go me!

Over the past few days I have added about 138 things from the past few years. ( As I said I am terrible at keeping up). Coming Soon ( so I don't forget this list): - I have 2 in progress paintings I am working on still -my capstone projects for ceramics -the rest of the art teaching portfolio -pinhole photography (looking for the box of photos) -my graphic design work - 5 pieces of art that I have temporarily misplaced ( reorganizing my house now-- I am looking for them) -Comic book scans ( drew it about 15 years ago.. I don't even have a copy of all of it but I will upload the pages I do have) Why am I doing all this uploading all of the sudden you may ask... well I have been toying with the idea of going to grad school so I am trying to organize my portfolio before I apply so I am not overwhelmed with it later--- as you can see there is a lot of stuff.
